Apple has two advantages when it comes to receiving exclusive access to certain mobile apps.
First, the company has the biggest app store in the world with considerably more downloads than the Google Play store.
Second, Apple users are known to be far more engaged with their internet connected apps. That means app developers are more likely to lure in customers and keep them coming back to their apps while earning more money than they typically do with an Android app.
Some apps are released to Apple’s iOS platform and then later released on Google Android. Other apps find their home comfortably on iPhone and iPad devices and never expand beyond their iOS platform.
