Last century, women weren’t even allowed to hold a job, or even vote, in most countries. We’ve come a long way from then, and these women have the brains and beauty to lead an entire nation.
The ladies we’re about to show you started out modeling, acting, or in sports, but they found their true calling in politics and are now making their marks on the world.
We can’t help but admire their stunning beauty even though their minds are even more powerful than their looks.
30. Vanja Hadzovic (Serbia)
This beautiful lady is a model turned politician. With a degree in management in media she decided to take on the world of politics.
Vanja is currently employed in the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Unfortunately, she’s going through a bit of a social media scandal because of some revealing photos she posted on Instagram.
29. Alina Kabaeva (Russia)
Alina has quite a resume. She was not only one of the world’s most decorated rhythmic gymnasts, with having won 2 Olympic gold medals, and 14 World Championship medals, but has now entered the political arena.
She retired from gymnastics in 2007. Afterwards, she was soon rumored to be Vladimir Putin’s lover, who’s actually twice her age. She’s had two children since their love affair began, and the media has kept it on the down low. Of course, we can all guess who the father might be.
28. Sitrida Gaegea (Lebanon)
Sitrida earned a BS in Political Science. The imprisonment of her husband led Gaegea on an 11 yearlong fight to help the Lebanon regain its freedom.
She fought hard until the Syrian forces withdrew from Lebanon and released her husband from prison. Due to her charming good looks, and powerful demeanor, Lebanon labeled her as the “First Lady of Lebanon.”
27. Eva Kaili (European Parliament)
Eva graduated from college with an Architectural degree. Surprisingly, because of her good looks, she became a news anchor.
From her position as a news anchor, the transition into politics was inevitable. She was elected as the youngest member of the PanHellenic Socialist Party, the democratic party of Greece, in the European Parliament in 2004 and has been dominating the political scene ever since.

For Mara, posing nude was always extremely uncomfortable. She’s actually referred to herself as a prude!
She entered politics in 2004 when she joined the fight for women’s rights as part of the “The People of Freedom Party.” She definitely has one of the most intriguing stories we’ve ever heard. She went from being a nude model, to a powerful politician.
25. Joanna Mucha (Poland)
Joanna has a doctorate in economics. She graduated from the University of Warsaw in 2001. But don’t let her education fool you. She has actually done modeling gigs in the past.
Mucha was appointed as the Minister of Sport of Tourism under Donald Tusk in 2011. She’s a liberal politician, economist, academic teacher AND a doctor of economics.

Things took a turn for Nikita when she wore a revealing dress to a major political party. Naturally the world went crazy.
Ever since the incident, she’s been showing us more revealing photos of her beautiful self through her personal Instagram. She currently has over 130,000 followers. I guess politicians can be sexy too.
23. Yuri Fuyikawa (Japan)
Here we’re used to having former movie stars become presidents. They do things a bit different in Japan. Yuri is a councilwoman in Hachinihe City and a member of the Conservative Party.
In Japan, it takes a politician to become a popular porn star. You might have caught Yuri posing at a beach in her hometown showing off her cleavage. She was also involved in a major sex scandal with another politician.
22. Angela Gerekou (Greece)
Angela started out as an actress. She starred in several movies, which led to a successful acting career during the 80s. She’s also done a few modeling gigs outside of movies, including a full spread for Playboy.
Gerekou served as the vice minister for Ministry of Culture and Sport throughout most of her political career. Her voluptuous beauty exudes a glamorous demeanor and she might be the hottest cougar on the face of the earth.
21. Anna-Maria Galojan (Estonia)
Anna is often described both as one of Estonia’s “most popular politicians and public figures” and the “Estonian Swindler.” She’s no longer a politician because she was accused of embezzling over 59,438 euros.
In 2009 she posed for Playboy. Maybe it’s better not to hire former Playboy models to handle that much money.
20. Maria Kozhevnikov (Russia)
Maria is the Deputy of State Duma of the Russian Federation. She graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in 2006.
She appeared in many Russian films and television series, but decided to take a role in politics. In November 2011, she was voted the hottest woman in Russia.
19. Michele Bachmann (USA)
Michelle is a Republican congresswoman from Minnesota. Most Americans believe she’s out of her mind and possibly insane.
However, she’s pretty easy on the eyes. Of course that’s when she isn’t saying anything incredibly racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic or otherwise completely insane. Too bad she’s totally crazy.
18. Elizabeth Halseth (USA)
Elizabeth is the youngest woman to ever be elected into Nevada Legislature. She resigned from the Nevada senate in 2012.
Shortly after her resignation, she posed for Maxim’s hot 100 photo contest. We’re incredibly happy she did.
17. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner (Argentina)
Cristina is the current president of Argentina. She’s the first directly elected female president.
She’s actually the reason press conferences are such a big deal there. Everyone just wants to how beautiful she is. And we don’t blame them.
16. Orly Levy (Israel)
Before Levy entered the world of politics, she was involved in quite a few other things. She served in the Israeli Air Force, earned a law degree from a major Israeli university, and worked as a model and television host.
Orly has served in the Israeli political scene since 2009 and is up for re-election again this year. She currently serves as an independent member of the Knesset.
15. Emma Kiernan (Ireland)
Kiernan is an Irish politician who is standing for Fine Gaele on Newbridge Town Council, Kildare. Her run for office made the headlines when she posted some risqué photos on her friend’s social media.
In the photo, Kiernan is with two other friends in a more than playful pose. The photograph was immediately taken down after her friend became aware of the chain, but others set up pages solely dedicated to the picture.
14. Yulia Tymoshenko (Russia)
Yulia co-led the Orange Revolution. It was a mass protest movement that overthrew the 2004 election, which was conducted unfairly and was surrounded by massive corruption. She was the first woman appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Forbes placed Yulia as the third most powerful women in the world in 2005. Unfortunately, in 2006, her name wasn’t among the top.
13. Julia Bonk (Germany)
We have to give a lot of props to Julia because most 18-year-old Americans don’t even vote. Julia was elected at the young age of 18 as the youngest member of parliament in Germany.
Bonk served as a Left Party politician in the Landta of Saxony for 10 years (2004-2014). Bonk was a member and Vice-Spokeswoman of the parliamentary committee on School and Sport and a member of the committee on Science and University, Culture and Media all during her fourth legislative period.
12. Amal Clooney (United Nations)
Amal is a British-Lebanese’s lawyer, activist, and author. She’s a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers and specializes in international law and human rights.
She’s also the current wife to actor George Clooney. In 2014, George criticized the British tabloid newspaper after it claimed his fiancée’s mother opposed their marriage on religious grounds. The tabloid later apologized for the false story, but he refused to accept their apology.
11. Vera Lischka (Austria)
Vera is currently a member of the Upper Austrian parliament. She’s also a former breaststroke swimmer.
Vera competed for her native country in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She won the European title in the 50m Breaststroke at the European SC Championships in 1996.
10. Nina Siakhali Moradi (Iran)
Moradi is an Iranian politician. She has a dazzling and striking appearance. She was also named one of the top most beautiful politicians in the world.
She was once disqualified from the Iranian council due to her stunning and elegant looks. Moradi is also an architect and she’s no longer too beautiful and good-looking for the council.
9. Dimple Yadav (India)
Yadav is an Indian politician. She’s an affiliate with Samajawadi Party and was elected for the first time from the Kannauj constituency to the Lok Sabha in 2012.
She’s the 44th person in India to be elected unopposed since independence of India. She’s known as a celebrity in her region and is usually invited in parties or functions as a special guest and considered one of the most beautiful female politicians in the world.
8. Kashmala Tariq (Pakistan)
Tariq is a Pakistani politician who has served in the National Assembly of Pakistan. She’s known for her work as a human rights activist and has done a lot for women in Pakistan.
Kashmala introduced many of women rights to secure the female in Pakistan who became victims of honor killings. She is one of the most active and vibrant politicians in Pakistan.
7. Mary Bono Mack (USA)
Mary is a former congresswoman from California. She currently serves as a Senior VP of a prominent consulting firm.
She took over the seat after her late husband, Sonny Bono, passed away. Unfortunately, Bono was defeated in her bid for reelection in 2012.
6. Ayla Malik (Pakistan)
Ayla is a journalist and a former member of the National Assembly. She comes from a very powerful political family.
She made a name for herself as a television personality. Malik anchored a Current Affairs program name as “Situation Room with Ayla Malik.”
5. Kelly Ayotte (USA)
Kelly is a senator from New Hampshire. She’s currently making a huge mark on the Republican Party.
We can’t deny how she’s pretty nice to look at during press conferences. She is the second-youngest of the 20 female senators in the Republican Party.
4. Belinda Stronach (Canada)
Canadian Parliament member, Belinda Stronach, is a bombshell to boot. From 2004 to 2008, she was a Member of Parliament in the Canadian House of Commons.
Belinda was originally elected as a Conservative, but she later made the cross to join the Liberals. For a year she was responsible for Democratic Renewals in the government of Paul Martin as the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development.
3. Christa Mark Walder
Christa is a member of the Democratic Party of Switzerland. She’s also President of the New European Movement.
Christa started out as a lawyer. She studied jurisprudence and ecology at the University of Bern. She later joined the Young Liberals and sat in the Burgdorfer city council.

Gillbrand is an American politician and Junior United States Senator from New York. She’s been in office since 2009.
She previously served in the United States House of Representatives. She’s a member of the Democratic Party and took over Hillary Clinton’s seat in 2009.
1. Luciana Leon (Peru)
Luciana became the youngest member of the Peruvian Parliament at the age of 31 in its entire history. She holds a law degree from the University of Lima and Master of Governance and Public Policy from the University of San Martin de Porres.
She’s also been polled to be the most beautiful female politician of all time! It was an international internet poll, run by Spain’s 20 Minutos newspaper in 2009.
